Jeremy Borys completed his Dissertation entitled, "Emotional Intelligence and Low-Wage Labor," and earned his doctorate from Wayne State University in December of 2004 in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Jeremy specializes in areas of leadership development, organizational culture, training, and employee motivation. His areas of expertise center on test development/item development, data collection, and analysis, and he is adept at creating structured interviews, employee surveys, and tailored personality inventories. Jeremy also utilizes his technological skills in developing web-based tools and advanced database applications.  

Education

Dr. Borys’ education includes an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Catholic University of America in Washington D. C., and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI

Representative Engagements

·      Develop and Deliver Online Products – Worked with organizations to map leadership competencies onto web-based platforms for the purposes of assessment, development, and selection.

·      Design and Implement Selection Assessment Process – For our own organization, designed an assessment process utilizing a tailored, online personality inventory, role-plays, and a comprehensive, integrated rating system for the selection of temporary workers.

·      Assessment for Selection and Development – Created simulated      assessments based on a fictitious retail organization for an internal assessment process; developed rating scales and trained individuals on conducting role-plays; participates as a role-player in both Executive and Management assessments for Right Management
