Professional Profile
John is the founder of Right
Management Consultants of the Great Lakes Region. He
opened his first office in
Michigan
in 1981 and today manages and oversees six offices with over 60 full-time
professionals serving over 600 corporate clients.
John is responsible for the
development and growth of the Great Lakes Region. In
1994 he purchased his largest competitor and doubled the size of his company. In
1995 he started his organization development and human resource consulting
practice.
John is very active in the
community he serves. He is past
treasurer of the
Alliance
for a Safer Greater Detroit, an annex of the Greater Detroit Chamber of
Commerce. He is a graduate of
Leadership Detroit XIII, and supports the Republican Party, the
Right
Place
, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, the Interfaith Roundtable,
Alternative For Girls, Variety, New Detroit, and many other statewide
organizations. He serves on many
boards, including the Michigan Colleges Foundation, Right Management
Consultants Worldwide, Detroit Historical Society and is a life member of the
Economic Club of Detroit. In 2001,
John was one of five recipients of the Leadership Award granted by Leadership
Detroit.
He also takes part in the firm's community out-reach programs, where he
delivers speeches focusing on career management and team building to area
colleges, universities and community groups.
Prior to founding Right of the
Great Lakes, John owned and managed an
automotive after market business. He lives in
Orchard
Lake
with his wife Mary and their two sons John Jr. and Michael.
