ROXANNE A. BUHL

Roxanne Buhl is Vice President, Client Services Consultant for the west Michigan offices of Right Management’s Great Lakes Region.

She is responsible for consulting with and advising organizations on strategic business issues such as attracting and assessing top talent, developing employees, engaging and aligning the workforce to achieve maximum productivity, and redeploying or transitioning workers. Roxanne endeavors to achieve organizational objectives by creating a competitive advantage for Right Management’s clients through the development and alignment of human capital with their strategic business initiatives. She delivers exceptional client service with specific, measurable results.

Professional Experience

Roxanne joined Right Management in 1997. She has more than 15 years of consultative business development, marketing, and project management experience with non-profit, private, and publicly-traded organizations. Her background includes extensive experience in talent acquisition, job development, and marketplace resource consulting. She has developed and managed programs and services for organizations such as Steelcase Inc., the global leader in the office furniture industry; Whirlpool Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of major home appliances, and the State of Michigan.

Roxanne is recognized for her problem solving approach, organizational skills, and ability to position Right Management as a global human resource partner for area businesses. She is passionate and knowledgeable about technology and how it can simplify and streamline the business environment.

Business/Organizational Leadership Experience

Prior to joining Right Management, Roxanne held progressively responsible positions with a privately-owned agricultural products manufacturer. As Business Manager, she oversaw national and international sales and marketing activities. Roxanne’s creative, high-energy style, coupled with strong communication skills, led to success in supervising numerous projects including managing all national and international advertising, gaining a 50% increase in return on advertising investment, and leading the implementation of automated tracking and reporting systems.

In her previous positions, Roxanne was responsible for the

marketing needs of 50 internal customers, in 4 regional locations, serving more than 700 client companies. She facilitated the introduction of Michigan’s Talent Bank in west Michigan; and has coordinated consistent, global reductions in force.

Education and Training

Roxanne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Masters of Business Administration with Marketing Concentration from Western Michigan University. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the national business honor society, and the national scholastic honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Roxanne is a Leadership Grand Rapids graduate. She is a member of the Human Resource Group of Grand Rapids, the Association of Human Resource Managers, and The Economic Club of Grand Rapids. She is also an active volunteer for Western Michigan University’s Grand Rapids MBA Alumni, and for the Rockford Sportsman’s Club.
