JOHN HANSSON
John Hansson is Vice
President, Client Services Consultant for the
eastern Michigan offices of Right Management’s Great
Lakes Region.
John is responsible for
consulting with and advising organizations on
strategic human resource capital issues such as
attracting and assessing top organizational
talent, developing leaders, engaging and
aligning the organizations workforce, and
redeploying or transitioning employees.
John delivers
exceptional service with specific, measurable
results that create competitive advantages for
Right Management’s clients.
Professional
Experience
Prior to joining Right
Management in 2008, John was the Director of
Human Resources for Yazaki North America, a
major tier one auto supplier.
His
responsibilities included opening a $400m Joint
Venture in Michigan, and holding the
Human Resources leadership role for multiple
Yazaki operations in Texas and Mexico.
John
has 35 years of Human Resources leadership
experience in both staff and line positions in
several industries including: automotive
supplier manufacturing, hospitality,
pharmaceuticals, and television broadcasting.
International
responsibilities include opening new facilities
in Mexico and Human
Resources leadership for on-going operations in Mexico, Europe, and Puerto Rico.
He is recognized
for his problem solving approaches, creativity
applied to strategic business issues, and
organizational skills.
Education and Training
John holds an MBA from
Michigan
State
University,
and a BA in Communications and Marketing from
the
University of Miami.
He is a graduate of
the Leadership Detroit program, active in the
Michigan State University Executive MBA Alumni
Association, and a member of various Human
Resource organizations.
John is a member of the
Original Equipment Suppliers Association Human
Resources Council.
As a result of his
extensive HR background with Fortune 100
Corporations, John has lived and worked in
several cities throughout the
United States,
giving him geographical/cultural knowledge
frequently helpful in assisting clients with
their projects.
